Conference
I just loved conference this weekend. My favorite talk that I really enjoyed was by M Russell Ballard. He talked about what young mothers can do to reduce the pressure and enjoy our families more. One thing that really stuck out to me that he said was “The joy of motherhood come in moments. Live in the moment.” It is seems like I am so busy doing other things that I really take the time to savor each day and each moment with my children. He also talk about not watching soaps and surfing the Internet. So I have decided to limit my Internet time and the time my children watch TV. A while ago I made some TV money one dollar for 30 minutes of TV time. I am going to but that in to effect. I am going to do the same for my Internet time. So we will only have 2 hours of TV and Internet time each day.
Yesterday David and I talked to Brad about moving upstairs. We have decided that it is time that Victoria and him have different rooms. The only problem is that I have to be in the room until he falls asleep. And putting two kids to bed like that will take all night. Especially since they won’t let Daddy put them to bed. So we told him that if he wants to sleep up stairs that he need to be able to go to sleep by him self. We are starting this tonight so hopefully he won’t have to much of a fit and we will be able to get to bed at a decent hour. I am thinking of starting at 8:00. They normally go to bed at 9:00 so we will see how it works.
