Easter Weekend
Easter was a lot of fun. I don’t know who had more fun me or the kids. lol Saturday morning David went into work and I took the kids to the Easter egg hunt. There were a lot of kids the ages were 2 and under and then 3 to 5 so I took Victoria to the 3 to 5 I helped her a little bit because she was the youngest and she ended up getting more eggs and candy then Brad oops. Then we went and saw the Easter bunny. We came home put in a movie for the kids and I worked on this layout. I love how it turned out with all of the shadows and everything.
Later on that afternoon, Idonna watched the kids while I went and got Easter stuff. I got a ton of candy, to much candy. They still have candy. I also got them some buckets so they could take them and play in the sand with them at the beach. Well I for got the buckets when we went to the beach. I also rented Charlottes Web for them to watch. I was a cute movie but I think I like the first one they made better. I like the songs that are in it.
Sunday morning we got up and got ready for church and woke the kids up and got them ready and told them if they hurry they can look for their easter baskets before church. Brad’s was under the computer desk and Victoria’s was in the kitchen on the other side of the china cabinet. After church we just kind of hung out. The kids watched Happy Feet, it was in Brad’s Easter basket. Sister fell asleep, I cleaned the kitchen and David worked on the computer. At about 3:30 I went out and hid Easter eggs so the kids could have there own Easter egg hunt. This time Brad got more than Victoria. They had a lot of fun. Lynn came out and videoed them. Then after that we hurried and got in the car because we were going over to Sheila’s for dinner. Dinner was really good. We had ham, baked potatoes, roast, carrots, jello salad and green salad. We even got to eat it on Sheila and Jason’s new table. After dinner we just hung out and watched tv and talked. Then after a while we eat dessert and went home. We wanted to be home by 9 to watch The Apprentice but we didn’t make it home until after 9. Well that is all for now. I will write about our trip to California later.
