I was scheduled for a C-section at 7:00 am on January 27. On Tuesday they called and said that they needed to reschedule me for 12:00 pm and I needed to be at the hospital at 10:00 am. That night the hospital call the confirm my appointment and said that my surgery was at 12:30 pm and I need to to be there at 11:00 am. So I was confused. So at 10:30 we got to the hospital they got me ready stared an IV and asked a million questions. At about 12 they paged the doctor to see if was ready and he wasn’t going to be ready until 1:15 so we just sat and waited and watched TV. It was fun to hear the monitor and hear here have to hiccups. At 1:15 they came and got me and we walked in to the surgery room. The anesthesiologist had me sit on the table and David stood in front of me. I put my hands on his shoulders and I was to arch my back so they cold give me a spinal. After a little prick it was in and they said okay you can lay down now. I was already starting to get numb. After that they continued to get me ready for the surgery. A few minutes later Dr Merrill can in and said he was going to help Dr Quinn with the surgery. It seemed like he was busy getting to work before Dr Quinn came in. So Dr Quinn came in and they stared delivering the baby. A few minutes later she was born. She came out crying which was so good to hear. Her weight was 6 lb and she was 18 inches long. I just stared at her while they finished the surgery. It is hard to believe she is finally here.
